United Way of Greater Atlanta
United Way of Greater Atlanta partnered with The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta and in just two weeks, created and activated a fund to support the Atlanta community that since its inception has raised more than $25 million, $17.3 million of which has been mobilized to benefit more than 300 nonprofits. United Way used its unique Child Well-Being Index and data to identify the areas of greatest need within Atlanta and put the money to use where it would make the most impact.
More than 150 stories have been told throughout the press on the incredible community support for the funds and the relief it provided to our city’s non-profits and people most in need.
